EA Play Live 2020 event postponed for a whole week

Electronic Arts has announced that the EA Play Live 2020 event will be postponed for a whole week.

This event was scheduled to be broadcast on the twelfth of June, at two in the morning, Saudi Arabia time. Now, after the decision to postpone, the event will take place on the nineteenth of the same month, at the same time.

This means that the broadcast was postponed for only one week.

And on the reasons for the delay - as you might have expected - the company of American assets hinted through a tweet published by the official account that it comes in light of the recent events taking place in the American street:

With important conversations taking place and important voices also heard around the world right now, we are moving our date to play together later.
We'll see you at EA Play Live 2020 on June 19th, after 2pm. [Editor's note: Of course the company didn't make the announcements in Saudi time, but we set the time on our side].

It is noteworthy that the list of EA games confirmed for the current year so far includes FIFA 21, Madden NFL 21 and NHL 21. As for what we are likely to hear, it will be news about a new Star Wars game and possibly information about the upcoming Battlefield game in 2021 for the next generation.
